Project Synopsis

cGMP manufacturing plant for the production of ricin. Ricin is used in conjunction with monoclonal antibodies. Sim/Tech was involved in the design and construction of this free standing pharmaceutical manufacturing building including the following systems: WFI water, clean steam, low and high pressure steam, UPS with standby generator, double containment industrial waste piping and storage system, kill waste treatment facility, pharmaceutical compressed air, computer controlled solutions preparation tank system.

One of the critical production features of this pharmaceutical plant is a 800 Sq. Ft. class 100 clean cold room. Temperature control within 2 ºF is achieved with a dedicated glycol chill system.
